AGROECOLOGY INTERNATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL

Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium

25-27 August 2010
The objective of this first Agroecology International Summer School (AE ISS) is to make people of different communities who define themselves as practitioners of agroecology in its different acceptions to learn to know each other.  It is designed first and foremost for students who are interested in or concerned by agroecology in their education and training (master’s curriculum, internships, etc.), research (theses), and/or career plans.  The summer school has a double aim: describe what agroecology is today and understand what agroecology engenders or the action to which it gives rise, that is, how it is mobilised by researchers, social movements, and development projects.
